no one is denying that white women have suffered throughout history or what the fuck ever but it’s the relative Weight that you give to their suffering that is so transparent and so soul-depleting really…… & the fact that people generally refuse to put it into context with the untold suffering that many of these women themselves inflicted on enslaved women, never mind that you COULD put it into that context, but people don’t, and if you can’t see why seeing discussions that focus on the suffering of white women to the exclusion of all else (women who themselves brutalised your ancestors) would soon get you to a point where you don’t care about tightlaced corsets & lead paint–which were largely trends that any individual white woman could decide whether or not to participate in anyway!–then you can wallow in your abject lack of sympathy for anyone who isn’t you forever I guess because it’s really not my problem
