really wish i never bothered with kins so i could actually talk to people without them only seeing me as some fictional character 

the combination of y’all’s detachment from reality + the fact that we’re all hidden behind computer screens really makes it easy for people on here to like… only care about others in terms of kin which leads to basically dehumanising people & idealising them. it makes you mistreat people 

people are more than fictional characters & fandom-based fantasies you know. like. you all love to make fun of kindating but you’re oh so willing to only talk to people because you ~share a canon uwu~ without establishing an actual relationship

it’s a dick move, it’s unhealthy, yet people wonder why relationships (platonic & romantic) don’t last long here
